Adam Shipley, Master Stylist & Salon Owner
Adam started working in a quaint family salon in North Carolina after graduating from cosmetology school in 2008 & then moved to Virginia Beach to grow his career. Adam focused on expanding his education thru Wella, Aveda, and Schwarzkopf color. While working in some of the top salons in the area, he always felt a calling to establish his own salon where fellow stylists would feel at home. At Ava Marie Salon of Creatives he has changed the established norm from client to hair experience.

Ariana Molina, Master Stylist
Ariana graduated with her cosmetology license in 2011 from Virginia technical career center. Post graduation she attended balayage classes, updo classes, and continues to educate herself on all the new trends. She is also certified in Brazilian blow out and keratin smoothing treatments as well as Hot heads and Babe hair extensions.

Neftaly Pacheco, Master Stylist
Nef has been doing hair professionally for 12 years after graduating from Coachella Valley Beauty College. She has since become certified in Brazilian Blowout and Babe Hand Tied Weft Extensions. Nef specializes in short styles such as bobs and pixie cuts. When not at Ava Marie, you can find Nef spending time at home with her wife and dogs. Staying active and playing recreational sports like, Kickball! Volunteering and staying active within her community.

Chere Sirmons, Master Stylist
Chere has been doing hair professionally for 23 years. She is passionate about her craft and enjoys the stylist experience of getting to know and bonding with her clients. Some of her many services she specializes in are fairy hair tinsel, pixie and bob haircuts, curly haircuts, perms, and hair coloring. On her time off she enjoys spending it with her family and 2 dogs at her home. Chere’s clients always rave about her, and most have known her for years because once you’re in her chair you are not only a client, but you are also family!

Summer Henley, Premium Stylist
Summer graduated from her apprenticeship program in 2020. She started working in salons at the age of 16 as an assistant for our owner, Adam Shipley. From there, she cultivated her appreciation for the industry. She enjoys doing blonding services and balayage techniques the most, but truly just loves when a client leaves feeling beautiful- no matter the service!
When she is not at work, you can find her with her loving husband or spending time with family and friends. Summer enjoys being apart of a fun, creative environment and building relationships with her coworkers and clients!

Izabella Smittle, Premium Stylist
Izzy graduated from Norfolk Tech centers cosmetology program in 2020, while she apprenticed under owner Adam Shipley. Since graduation Izzy has continued her education with further hair classes to stay up to date with current trends, techniques, and styles. She is certified in Brazilian Blowout, Keratin services, and specializes in many coloring and blonding services. Izzy prides herself in being personal, caring, and building strong relationships with all of her clients. She wants it to be known that her chair is a safe place for everyone that sits in it!
